There will be times when your rep is in the field on a service call and they will need to order a replacement part for the customer.
With stock Acumatica they would have to leave the Acumatica service screen and open an Acumatica sales order screen to order the shipment. With this customization your field rep will have the ability to create and ship orders from within the Service Screen.
Based on settings you can have this set for approvals or have it automatically send to the shipping department to create the shipment.
With our new Side panel feature within the Service Screen your field rep will be able to drill into the actual sales order and even see the tracking number once the item has been shipped.
