Sales Order Notes
Take Acumatica to the next level
This module extends the note taking ability present in Acumatica and allows multi-line displays and the ability to select the forms that notes appear on.
Entering Notes
The Sale Order screen (SO301000) has three new buttons, two in the header and one in the lines grid.
By selecting a specific order line and clicking this button, the notes entry screen (SO309010) will be displayed (see image).
The notes entry screen (SO309010) for the header of the sales order will be displayed (see image).
A read-only version of the notes entry screen (SO309010) for the entire order will be displayed (see image).
The [Order Type], [Order Nbr], and [Line Nbr] fields link the notes back to the sales order. In the event that you are viewing the Header Comments or Reviewing the Comments the [Line Nbr] field will be empty.
Sort Order: The individual notes will appear in the same order as presented on the screen unless overridden by putting a number in this field to control the display on the printed forms.
Body: The text of the note. As many notes as are desired can be entered without limit.
All checkbox fields: Controls on what printed form(s) the note will appear. If none are checked (the default), then the note line is considered internal and will not print on any form but be available to view/edit through the sale order screen at any time. Note that this functionality requires customization by the Mayer Group of the corresponding forms within Acumatica in order to function.
