BOM Inventory Numbering
Take Acumatica to the next level
When you create a new Bill of Material (BOM) in stock Acumatica it will default with a system auto generated number. When activated the Mayer Advantage Enhancement is activated it automatically use the inventory ID for your BOM ID. The benefit of this enhancement is that you can clearly see what item the BOM represents.
In order to use this feature, you must limit the length of the inventory id to 15 characters.
The stock Acumatica auto assigns a generic number.

As you can see now, the BOM ID matches the Item ID
